Dr. Jane Eye, DVM - Shubenacadie

Originally from Halifax, Jane graduated from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in 1978. She attended and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1983. Jane previously practiced in Digby and Halifax, and was employed by the government for three and a half years, before joining Fundy Veterinarians in 1990.
Jane resides in Nine Mile River with her Greyhound Perrin. In her spare time, she enjoys running, biking, and horseback riding.

Dr. Melissa McMullin, DVM

Melissa grew up in Halifax County and spent all of her free time riding and working with horses. She attended the Nova Scotia Agricultural College before obtaining her DVM from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2012. After spending three and a half years working at a mixed animal practice in Brandon, Manitoba, she moved home to Nova Scotia in 2016 with her husband, Mark, and their Jack Russell Terrier, Prairie, to join the Fundy Veterinarians team. Melissa loves spending her days working with equine and companion animals, and in her free time, she enjoys riding, snowboarding, hiking and practicing agility with Prairie.

Shonna Clark - RVT

Shonna graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at the NSAC in 1993. Upon graduation she immediately started her career with us here at Fundy Veterinarians. As a Senior Veterinary Technician, Shonna has an interest in pet nutrition, anesthesia and pain management but she enjoys all aspects of her career.
She lives with her husband Scott, their son Quinn and their dogs Georgia and Layla, cats Gracie and Violet and their bunny Abella.
In her spare time Shonna enjoys spending time at their cottage with family and friends.


Kristen Spencer - RVT

Kristen graduated from the NSAC's Animal Health Technology program in 2004 with high honours. She has been with Fundy Veterinarians since completing her student externship there in 2003.  Receiving on-site training from the diagnostics services department at AVC helped Kristen develop her interest in laboratory analysis and parasitology. She has been involved with horses from a young age and enjoys the equine data entry aspect of her job as well.

Kristen and her husband, Mark, are kept busy with their daughters, Adeline and Elizabeth.  They also share their home with a Doberman named Reuben, cats; Gus and Beanie, and a snake. Kristen enjoys spending time with her horse, Dixie, gardening, baking and spending time at the cottage with family.


Pascale MacLeod - RVT

Pascale was raised on a 7th generation beef farm located in Heathbell, Nova Scotia. Her love for animals began at a very young age-swapping out dolls for kittens-and tagging along with her dad for barn chores and any farm and related tasks.

Pascale`s passion for animals continued to grow and she graduated with a diploma in Veterinary Technology from the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus in 2013. Pascale recently joined the Fundy Veterinary Ltd. team in Fall 2016. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but with a special interest in laboratory analysis and nursing care.

Pascale is a dedicated foodie who enjoys spending her time relaxing, crafting, spending time with family and friends, and going on outdoor adventures. She and Dave share their home with their dog Russell and their hellion kitty Sophie.

Breanna Cox – RVT

Breanna was raised on a hobby farm in Selma, Nova Scotia which consisted of horses and cows. Her love for animals of all varieties started at a young age spending many hours in the barn along with her dad.

Breanna joined the Fundy Vets team in 2010 as a vet assistant/receptionist. Upon completing high school in 2012 she attended the Dal-AC Veterinary Technology program and graduated with her diploma in Technology in 2015. Aside from Breanna’s interest in animal nursing and behavior she also enjoys inventory and marketing.

Breanna and Tyler share their home with their 2 dogs: Justise and Jet, as well their 3 cats: Tonka, Teddy, and Remmington. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and animals, going four-wheeling, and going to her parent’s cottage.
