Soft Tissue Surgery

Soft tissue surgery is any non-joint or bone-related surgery.

Why would my pet need soft tissue surgery?

Veterinary soft tissue surgery is recommended for a variety of reasons. These include "routine" procedures such as mass removals, trauma, and emergency surgery, wound management, and any medically required reconstructive procedures. The most common soft tissue surgeries for animals are mass removals, wound reconstruction, and hernia repairs. More advanced soft tissue surgeries include cystotomy, abdominal exploratory surgery, and splenectomy. During the surgical procedure, there are often multiple monitoring devices ensuring the maximum safety of your pet.
