Emergency Care
You can rely on us to provide the attention your pet needs in an emergency situation. We work with other vet clinics in the region to ensure there is somebody on-call and available at all times. If your pet becomes sick or injured outside of regular business hours, please call us and leave a message and a veterinarian from one of the three clinics will return your call and discuss the plan.
Continuous Care
We provide on call emergency service in conjunction with other practices so that emergency patient care is provided at any time of day, every day of the week. Sleep well knowing our team is at the ready, including holidays, available to answer your questions and aid your pet in times of need.
Dentistry
Honest to goodness! What is that smell? If your pet has bad breath, it’s usually a sign that they have dental issues. Gingivitis, tartar, periodontal disease, and tooth rot are frequently diagnosed and treated in our clinics. Treat your pet to a day with the oral hygienist; their pearly whites will thank you!

From soothing GI Upset to addressing Respiratory Issues and Urinary Problems, acupuncture offers a holistic approach to wellness. Our services include acupuncture for companion animals and options for herbal medications.
Ultrasound
Ultrasonography proves invaluable for visualizing soft tissue structures that are not easily discernible through X-ray. It is an essential diagnostic tool for addressing ongoing issues such as diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, and more. At Fundy Vets, we utilize a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine, and our dedicated Doctors have undergone extensive training to expand their knowledge and refine their skills in this field. Please note that this service operates on a referral basis, with ultrasound images being shared for evaluation by a Board Certified Radiologist.
At-Home Euthanasia Services
The term "euthanasia" derives from the Greek words meaning "good death," and we take the utmost pride in having the technical, medical, and soft skills to provide a peaceful end-of-life experience for your beloved pet. We provide care in the comfort of your own home, offering sedation to ensure a calm passing for your beloved family member, as well as options for at-home burial or cremation with transportation included, and the option to create keepsake paw prints, all following an end-of-life consultation. Qualifying Distance: 30-minute travel radius of Fundy Vets Truro.
