Dr. Ed MacAulay

Ed grew up on a mixed farm in Colchester County and completed school at Central Colchester High School in Onslow. He attended University of Guelph and obtained his DVM degree from Ontario Veterinary College. He and his brother Al founded Fundy Veterinarians in 1971 in Shubenacadie. Ed and his wife Joan moved to Murray Siding when the practice acquired Truro Animal Hospital from Dr. Nettleton in 1978. Mixed practice has always been Ed's scope of interest, working with all species including domestic livestock, equine and pets.

Ed and Joan raised their three daughters on their hobby farm with a variety of animals and pets. The grandchildren, Emma, Becca, Alex and Lauren are now frequent visitors. Other interests include gardening, outdoor activities and camping.
