Karleigh’s admiration for animals was known at a very young age when she mustered ‘Pup’ as her very first word. Since then, Karleigh has gone to every measure to ensure she is surrounded by 4-legged companions, and at one point had a whole room dedicated to Guinea Pigs! Karleigh has been an active member of the Brookfield 4H Club for 8+ years. Through 4H, Karleigh has expanded her knowledge of animal handling, Veterinary Science, and found her fiery passion for livestock - cattle to be exact! Although she is happiest in a barn, she just can’t wait for the next patient to walk through our front doors, especially if there are kittens involved. At home, Karleigh has a very eager American Staffordshire Terrier; Quinn, two Domestic Short-Hair kitties; Taz and Roxie, as well as a hamster; Nimpy. Studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, Karleigh has always known that her love for animals would transfer over to her career!
