Tony Spina

Being the owner of twelve equines, four dogs, and other various furry and feathered friends, it’s no secret that Tony is an animal lover. Tony came to Nova Scotia after spending several years working as an ER veterinary assistant in British Columbia, and is eager to meet all of the wonderful folks (and pets!) that walk through the doors at Fundy Vets’ Shubenacadie clinic. 

When Tony’s not caring for animals at the clinic, he can be found caring for his own animals! Tony and his partner own a hobby farm in Princeport, where they have driven, shown, and raised miniature horses for over twenty years. 

Being a proud first-generation Canadian, Tony speaks fluent Italian, and may even consider cooking up one of his famous authentic Italian dishes for you- if you ask nicely, that is. He’d also be happy to chat about Jersey cattles, Queeny the Red Fox, or CG the Canadian Goose.

Tony’s knowledge, experience, and spirit adds immense value to our team. We are thrilled to welcome him into our Fundy Family.
